The AirTAC GFR600-25 AirTAC Filter Regulator PT1 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR600-25 is a filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This size 600 unit is specified with a PT1 (1 in) port, the low-pressure regulator type, a 40 um standard filter element and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. It is ordered with a round external gauge scaled in psi, and without a mounting bracket. The aluminium alloy bowl is the material used at size 600.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, filter grades of 40 um standard or 5 um optional, and a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drain. Max working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds a packaging machine's air manifold where film sealing and actuator circuits run at reduced pressure; the filter strips water and scale from the plant ring before the regulator sets the working pressure.
Sits ahead of clamp cylinders on a CNC fixture circuit, cleaning the incoming air and holding the regulated clamp pressure steady across the shift; the psi gauge gives the operator a direct reading.
Installed at the drop feeding diverter valves and gate actuators in a bulk-material handling line, combining water and particulate removal with low-pressure regulation in one body at the 1 in port size.
Size and port step up with required flow: this is the largest GFR size, with a PT1 (1 in) port; if your line sits below the 1 in step, sizes 200-400 cover 1/8 in to 3/4 in. The drain choice matters: differential-pressure (fitted here) drains condensate without attention, automatic drains on a cycle, and manual requires an operator. The 40 um element fitted here is the standard grade; specify code W for the 5 um grade if downstream equipment needs finer filtration. The round external gauge is ordered in psi here; embedded square gauges and MPa or bar scales are the other catalogue options. Thread is PT as the standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT available to order. A mounting bracket can be added if the unit will not be pipe-supported.
One honest routing note: flow for the GFR series is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your application flow and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your application flow and pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The differential-pressure drain is the standard option: it discharges collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the filter element builds up, so no operator action is needed. If your duty cycle suits it, the catalogue also offers automatic (code A) and manual (code M) drain variants of the same unit.
