The AirTAC GFR600-25T AirTAC Filter Regulator 1 in NPT is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR600-25T is an AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: water and particulate removal plus downstream pressure regulation in a single body. This size-600 unit is fitted with a 1 in NPT port, the 5 um filter element (code W) for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, and a differential-pressure drain that bleeds accumulated condensate automatically whenever the pressure differential across the element is high enough. The regulator is the standard type with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). No gauge is fitted on this variant, and no mounting bracket is included. The bowl on size-600 units is aluminium alloy, and the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with manual or automatic drains, a 40 um or 5 um element, an embedded square or external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scale, a reverse/check valve, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so contact us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Dropping the 1 in NPT port into the main line feeding a packaging hall: the element strips water and fine particulate before the air reaches the distribution manifold, and the regulator holds a steady header pressure for every machine tapped off it.
Mounting ahead of the pneumatic cylinders and actuators on a conveyor or sorting line: clean, dry, regulated air keeps the drive and stopper cylinders cycling consistently through long production runs.
Placed upstream of pneumatic control valves and positioners on a process skid: the 5 um element screens out fine debris that would score valve seats, while the regulator holds the set pressure the valve actuators were sized for.
Size and port are the first decision: step up through 200, 300, 400 and 600 as the required flow and pipe size grow - this unit is already at the top of the range with its 1 in NPT port. Drain type is a real choice where a bowl is fitted: differential-pressure (this unit) needs no attention at moderate duty, automatic drain suits unattended installations, and manual drain suits low-condensate duty. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (code W, as here) when finer protection is needed downstream. Units with a regulator can carry an embedded square gauge or an optional external round gauge in MPa, psi or bar scale - this variant has none fitted, so add one if local pressure indication is required. Thread is PT as standard, with G and NPT as order options; this unit is NPT. A bracket is optional on GFR units and is not included here.
Flow for this family is published as curves, not as a single rated number, so we cannot quote a rated flow figure. Ask us to confirm sizing against your application from the datasheet before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Contact us with your line size and consumption and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 1 in NPT, size-600 unit on request.
The W in the code GFR60025JNWT selects the optional 5 um filter element for finer particulate removal than the standard 40 um grade - useful when protecting sensitive valves or instruments downstream. The drain is the differential-pressure type: it discharges collected condensate automatically when the pressure differential across the element rises, with no manual draining required in normal operation.
