GFR60020ALC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Low-Pressure

The AirTAC GFR60020ALC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.

About the GFR60020ALC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Low-Pressure

The AirTAC GFR60020ALC2T is a size-600 filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration has a 3/4 in NPT port, an automatic drain that expels collected condensate without manual attention, a 40 um standard filter element, and a round pressure gauge reading in psi. It is the low-pressure regulator type, and the 600-size bowl is aluminium alloy. A mounting bracket is included.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of port, thread (PT standard, G and NPT as options), drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, and low-pressure or standard regulation. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GFR60020ALC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Low-Pressure

GFR600G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range.
20Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1".
ADrain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)).
LLow-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Mounting bracket included.
(blank)Pressure gauge fitted (blank).
CGauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square.
2Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
(blank)Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Where the GFR60020ALC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Low-Pressure Is Used

factory

Packaging line air supply

Feeding clean, regulated air to case packers and wrapping machines on a packaging line, where the automatic drain keeps condensate out of the system without an operator visiting the bowl.

settings_input_component

Pneumatic clamping on machining cells

Supplying filtered, low-pressure regulated air to clamping and holding fixtures on a CNC machining cell, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct pressure readout at the cell.

valve

Air-knife drying stations

Conditioning supply air for air-knife drying and blow-off stations on wash lines, where the 3/4 in port and 40 um element protect nozzles from water and particulate carryover.

Is the GFR60020ALC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Low-Pressure the Right Unit?

Size and port set the capacity: the 600 series with a 3/4 in port is the largest GFR step, so match it to the air demand of the line rather than upsizing blindly. The automatic drain on this unit suits unattended or hard-to-reach installations; manual and differential-pressure drains are available if you prefer control or air savings. Filtration is 40 um standard, with 5 um (code W) where downstream equipment needs finer air. The round gauge here reads psi; square embedded gauges and MPa or bar scales are alternatives. Thread is NPT on this model, with PT standard and G available to order, and a bracket is included for panel or wall mounting.

Because flow is published as curves and not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/4" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Thread PT, G (BSPP) or NPT
  • ✓ Oil needed downstream? Use GFC instead

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Mount vertically, bowl down, following the airflow arrow.
  • check One body does the filtering and the regulating — no separate regulator needed.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills.
  • check Keep the unit above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.

GFR60020ALC2T AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 Low-Pressure FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one rated flow number we can quote. Send us your application details and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

The A in the code GFR60020ALC2T selects the automatic drain, which expels condensate from the bowl without manual intervention, and C2 selects the round external gauge with a psi scale. Manual or differential-pressure drains, square embedded gauges, and MPa or bar scales are available on other codes in the same series.
