The AirTAC GFR60020JF1WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4, 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR60020JF1WT is a size-600 filter regulator that removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has a 3/4 in NPT port, a 5 um filter element (code W, finer than the 40 um standard), a differential-pressure drain, and a fitted embedded square gauge scaled in MPa. The regulator is the standard type with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range, and max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). At size 600 the bowl is aluminium alloy, and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family is available in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of ports, thread options (PT standard, G and NPT to order), drain types (differential-pressure, automatic or manual), filter grades (40 um standard, 5 um optional), gauge styles and scales, and bracket options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed on a 3/4 in branch of a factory compressed-air ring main to remove condensed water and fine particulate and hold a steady working pressure for downstream tooling circuits.
Feeding filtered, regulated air to the pneumatic clamps, tool-changer cylinders and air-blast nozzles of a CNC machining centre, where the 5 um element helps protect close-tolerance valves.
Conditioning the air supply to conveyor diverters, case-erector cylinders and bagging heads on a packaging line, with the square MPa gauge giving a local setpoint readout at the machine.
Size and port set the flow capacity: the 600 series with a 3/4 in port is the largest step in the range, so match it to your line demand before ordering. Choose the drain type to suit the installation - differential-pressure (this unit) drains automatically as flow passes, automatic drains continuously, and manual drain suits attended installations. Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (this unit, code W) where finer particulate removal is needed. Gauge options are the embedded square gauge (fitted here, MPa scale) or an external round gauge, with MPa, psi or bar scales. Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT (this unit) as order options, and brackets are optional (not fitted on this code).
Flow for GFR units is published as curves, not a single rated figure, so please ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes GFR flow data as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow number. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The blank drain position in the code means the differential-pressure drain, which ejects collected condensate automatically as air flows through, with no manual draining routine. The W in the code selects the 5 um filter element instead of the 40 um standard, for finer particulate removal. Both are catalogue options on the GFR family.
