The AirTAC GFR60020JF3WT AirTAC Filter Regulator NPT3/4 5 um is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR60020JF3WT is a size-600 GFR filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and regulates downstream pressure in a single body. This configuration is fitted with 3/4 in NPT ports, a 5 um filter element (code W), a differential-pressure drain, an embedded square gauge reading in bar, and a standard regulator with an adjustment range of 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing). Because this is the size-600 unit, the drain bowl is aluminium alloy. No mounting bracket is included and no reverse/check valve is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR filter-regulator family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port options from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published in the AirTAC catalogue as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm the datasheet and flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 3 | Gauge scale: bar. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Installed at a 3/4 in drop from the plant air main, it filters water and particulate from the supply and holds a steady regulated pressure to the machines fed from that drop, with the bar gauge giving a local reading of the set pressure.
Feeding the cylinder and actuator circuits of a packaging or palletising line, it cleans the compressed air and regulates the pressure that positions, clamps and transfers product along the line.
Mounted ahead of the pneumatic controls of a CNC machine tool or machining cell, the 5 um element strips fine contamination and moisture from the air while the regulator holds the pressure the machine's valves and actuators were set up for.
Choose the size and port step against the air demand of the circuit: this unit is size 600 with 3/4 in NPT ports, the largest step in the GFR range. Drain type is a real choice: differential-pressure (as fitted here, draining on the pressure differential across the element), automatic (A) or manual (M). Filter grade is 40 um standard or 5 um (W) as fitted here for finer protection of downstream equipment. Gauge scale can be MPa, psi or bar; this unit carries the embedded square gauge reading bar, with an external round gauge available as an option. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options, and a mounting bracket can be added where J (no bracket) is not wanted. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR range as curves in the catalogue, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM number. Tell us your application and we will confirm the flow figures from the datasheet on request before you order.
The GFR range is supplied with a 40 um element as standard, and the W code on this model selects the optional 5 um element for finer filtration. Choose 5 um where downstream valves, cylinders or instruments need cleaner air; choose 40 um where coarser general protection is enough.
