The AirTAC GFR60020MC2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G3/4, Manual Drain is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR60020MC2G is a GFR-series filter regulator: it removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure steady, in one body. This 600-size unit has G3/4 (BSPP) ports, a manual-drain bowl in aluminium alloy, a 40 um filter element, and a standard regulator adjustable from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). A round gauge with a psi scale is fitted, maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, a choice of manual, automatic or differential-pressure drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) elements, gauge and scale options, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 20 | Port size PT3/4". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, regulated air to spray booths and pneumatic applicators, where water and dirt in the supply would spoil finish quality and steady pressure keeps application consistent.
Supply for the pneumatic cylinders and clamps on a packaging conveyor, with the regulator set to the pressure the actuators were designed for and the psi gauge giving a local readout.
Clean, regulated air to pneumatic valve actuators on a process skid, with the 40 um element protecting seals and seats from water and particulate in the plant supply.
Size 600 with G3/4 ports is the largest step in the GFR range; step down to 300 or 400 if your flow demand is lower. This unit has a manual drain - choose automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) if you cannot drain the bowl on a schedule. The 40 um element is standard; add W for a 5 um element where finer filtration is needed. Gauge options are round or embedded square with MPa, psi or bar scales; threads come as PT (standard), G or NPT; a mounting bracket is included with this unit. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
M in the code means the bowl drains by hand - open it as part of routine maintenance. If you prefer, the same GFR600 body is available with an automatic (A) or differential-pressure (blank) drain; ask us for those model codes.
