The AirTAC GFR60025MLF2G AirTAC Filter Regulator G1 Low-Pressure is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR series combines water and particulate filtration with pressure regulation in a single body, so one unit does the job of a separate filter and regulator. This size 600 configuration carries a G1 (1 in) port with G thread (PT is the standard thread form; G and NPT are order options), a 40 um filter element, a manual drain on the aluminium alloy bowl, and an embedded square gauge reading in psi. It is the low-pressure type, rated for a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and can be ordered with automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element (code W), gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR600 | G-series filter regulator, 600 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 25 | Port size PT1". This body offers 20 = PT3/4", 25 = PT1". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtered, low-pressure regulated air for the clamping cylinders of a pneumatic press cell, with the 1 in port feeding the machine's supply header and the psi gauge giving operators a direct setpoint readout.
Conditioning the air feeding the sealing jaws and case-forming actuators on a carton packaging line, where the manual drain suits a shift-start maintenance routine and the 40 um element protects the valves.
Supplying the divert gates and stopper cylinders on a distribution-centre conveyor, with the low-pressure regulator set to the gate actuators' operating band and the bracket mounting the unit at the line's drop point.
Size and port set the air capacity: within GFR you can step from size 200 up to this size 600 with a 1 in port, so match the port step to the flow your line needs. The drain choice matters: manual (this unit) means condensate is released by hand at service intervals, while automatic and differential-pressure drains handle it without attention. The 40 um element is standard; specify code W for a 5 um grade where finer filtration is needed. The embedded square gauge here reads psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is optional. Thread is G on this model, with PT as the standard form and NPT also orderable; a mounting bracket is included. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The aluminium-alloy bowl on the GFR600 suits harsher environments than a PC bowl. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFR series as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure, downstream demand and allowable pressure drop, and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
The M code fits a manual drain: condensate collected in the aluminium alloy bowl is released by hand at service intervals. If your installation cannot be drained on a schedule, the same size 600 unit can be ordered with an automatic or differential-pressure drain instead.
