The AirTAC GR300-08 AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator G1/4, psi Gauge is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/4" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR300-08 is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: it does one job, holding a stable downstream pressure from a compressed-air supply, and it carries no filter, no bowl and no lubricator. This 300-size unit is fitted with a 1/4 in G (BSPP) port, a square pressure gauge reading in psi, and the standard regulation range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). It ships without a mounting bracket (the J option), and GR bodies can also be panel-mounted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, a choice of PT, G or NPT thread, square or round gauges with MPa, psi or bar scales, a low-pressure type (L) limited to 0.4 MPa, and an optional reverse/check valve (K). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set a fixed, repeatable downstream pressure for a bench or C-frame pneumatic press so each stroke clamps with the same force, with the square psi gauge giving the operator a clear setpoint readout at the machine.
Regulate the supply to carton-sealing and wrapping cylinders on a packaging line, keeping actuator pressure steady even as the plant header pressure wanders through the shift.
Feed hold-down pads, diverters and stopper cylinders on a conveyor line at a controlled pressure, so product handling stays gentle and consistent without overdriving the cylinders.
Pick the GR size by the port and flow your line needs: 200 for 1/8-1/4 in ports, 300 for 1/4-3/8 in, 400 for 1/2-3/4 in, 600 for 1 in. Because flow is published as curves and not as a single rated number, ask us to confirm sizing against your air consumption before ordering. Choose the gauge scale you want (MPa, psi or bar) and square embedded or round external; this unit has the square psi gauge. Thread is G (BSPP) here, with PT and NPT available to order. The J suffix means no bracket is fitted - order a bracketed version if you need one, or use the GR's panel-mount capability. If your line runs below 0.4 MPa, the L low-pressure type is the right variant, and the K option adds a reverse/check valve.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your port size and air consumption and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet for your application on request.
The GR300-08JF2G has an embedded square gauge reading in psi and a G (BSPP) 1/4 in thread; PT and NPT threads and MPa or bar scales are catalogue options. A low-pressure type (L, up to 0.4 MPa), an optional reverse/check valve (K), a bracketed version, and a round external gauge are also available. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C and maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
