The AirTAC GR300-08 AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator, PT1/4 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/4" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR300-08 is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: it does one job, holding a stable downstream pressure from a compressed-air supply, and it carries no filter, bowl or lubricator. This is the 300 size with a PT1/4 (1/4 in) port, built as the low-pressure type, so its setting range tops out at 0.4 MPa - the right choice where the downstream equipment must never see full line pressure. A square pressure gauge scaled in psi is fitted as standard, and the unit is supplied with a mounting bracket; GR regulators of this size are also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, in standard and low-pressure (L) types, with PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads and with or without a gauge. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature range is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR300 | G-series pressure regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Fixing bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set a reduced, stable supply pressure to paint spray guns and air-assist lines in a finishing booth, where the coating process calls for settings well below full shop-air pressure.
Feed sealing jaws, hold-downs and small packaging cylinders on a cartoning or wrapping line from a regulated 1/4 in drop, keeping gentle actuator forces repeatable shift after shift.
Regulate bench air on a lab or test-rig manifold where instruments and small pneumatic fixtures need a low, steady setting and must be protected from upstream pressure swings.
Start with the port and size step: the 300 size with its PT1/4 port suits lines plumbed at 1/4 in, and stepping up to 400 or 600 buys more flow capacity at larger ports - we can check the flow curves against your demand before you order. Choose the low-pressure (L) type only when your setting stays at or below 0.4 MPa; for higher settings use the standard GR type. The fitted square gauge here reads in psi; MPa and bar scales are available, and an external round gauge is an option. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable options, and the mounting bracket is included (order the J variant if you do not want it).
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a l/min, SCFM or Cv figure here. Tell us your application and we will confirm the relevant flow-curve and datasheet figures on request before you order.
L marks the low-pressure type: the setting range tops out at 0.4 MPa, so it suits circuits that must never be set above that. F2 means a square gauge is fitted and scaled in psi; MPa or bar scales are available if you prefer, and an external round gauge is an option.
