The AirTAC GR300-08T AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/4" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The AirTAC GR300-08T is a compressed-air pressure regulator: its only job is to hold a steady, adjustable downstream pressure from a variable supply line. This unit is the 300 size with a 1/4 in NPT port, in the standard (non low-pressure) type. It is fitted with an external round gauge scaled in psi, so the set pressure is read directly at the unit, and it is supplied without a mounting bracket. As a regulator it has no filter element, no bowl and no drain - it does not remove water or particles and does not lubricate the air.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with port sizes from 1/8 to 1 in, in PT (standard), G or NPT thread, with optional low-pressure type, reverse/check valve, bracket and gauge choices. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the regulation range for this standard GR is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), with a working temperature of -20 to 70 C - wider than the rest of the G series. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR300 | G-series pressure regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set and hold a stable downstream pressure feeding a small pneumatic press or clamping cylinder on a 1/4 in NPT line, so the forming or staking force stays repeatable across shifts.
Regulate the supply to sealing jaws and carton-closing actuators on a packaging line, with the round psi gauge letting operators verify the set point at the machine without a separate test rig.
Control air pressure to grippers and guide rollers on wire-drawing or cable-cutting machinery, where the -20 to 70 C GR rating covers unheated workshop and cold-store-adjacent installations.
Start with the port and size: 300 size with a 1/4 in NPT port suits lines where the supply pipework is 1/4 in; step up to 400 or 600 when the circuit needs more flow capacity, and confirm the exact sizing against the published flow curves before ordering - we can check the datasheet for you. Choose the gauge to match your reading habit: the embedded square gauge is standard, an external round gauge is optional, and scales are available in MPa, psi or bar (this unit carries the round psi gauge). Thread is PT as the AirTAC standard; G and NPT are order options, and this unit is specified with NPT. Further decodable choices on the GR family: the L low-pressure type (up to 0.4 MPa), a K reverse/check valve, and bracket or no-bracket mounting - the GR is also panel-mountable. Do not fit a GR where filtration or lubrication is required; pair it with a GF filter or use a GFR/GC combination instead.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number. Send us your inlet pressure and required downstream flow and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The C in the code selects the optional external round gauge and the 2 selects the psi scale; the embedded square gauge is the standard alternative. Gauges are available in MPa, psi or bar scales - tell us which scale your operators read and we will decode or quote the matching GR variant.
