The AirTAC GR30008JC2 AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator PT1/4, psi gauge is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/4" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR30008JC2 is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator for compressed air, built on the GR300 size with a PT1/4 (1/4 in) PT-threaded port. This configuration is the standard regulator type with an adjustment range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi), and an operating temperature of -20 to 70 C - wider than the rest of the G-series families. It is supplied with an external round pressure gauge scaled in psi, and the J suffix means no mounting bracket is included; as a GR unit it is also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, G (BSPP) and NPT thread options to order, a low-pressure type (L) limited to 0.4 MPa, an optional reverse/check valve (K) and a choice of gauge scales. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and datasheet figures on request - just ask before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR300 | G-series pressure regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set a stable, repeatable working pressure for a clamping cylinder or pneumatic press station, with the round psi gauge giving the operator a direct reading of the set pressure at the machine.
Drop line pressure to the level a machine's directional valves and actuators were specified for, mounted close to the valve manifold on a packaging or assembly machine air drop.
Regulate the shop-air feed into a CNC machining centre's pneumatic circuit - tool-change cylinders, air bearings and purge lines - where the -20 to 70 C rating covers cold shop conditions.
Start with the size and port: GR200 through GR600 step up in port and flow capacity, so pick the step that matches the air demand of the circuit downstream - here the GR300 with a PT1/4 port sits in the middle of the range. Because flow is published as curves and not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering. Then set the remaining decodable options: gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar - this unit ships with a round psi gauge), thread (PT is the standard, with G/BSPP and NPT as order options), bracket (J codes omit it) and the special builds - low-pressure type L (up to 0.4 MPa) or a reverse/check valve (K). Note that regulation range depends on configuration: standalone GR covers 0.05-0.9 MPa, while the L type is limited to 0.4 MPa.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so there is no one flow number we can honestly quote for the GR300 at 1/4 in. Send us your application's air demand and inlet pressure and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The C2 suffix in GR30008JC2 specifies an external round gauge scaled in psi. Gauge scale is a real decode choice on GR units: 1 selects MPa, 2 selects psi and 3 selects bar, and an embedded square gauge is also available. If your panel reads in MPa or bar, order the matching scale code instead.
