GR30008LNT AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator, NPT1/4

The AirTAC GR30008LNT AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator, NPT1/4 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/4" ports, ordered without a gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.

About the GR30008LNT AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator, NPT1/4

The GR30008LNT is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: it does one job, holding a steady downstream pressure from a compressed-air supply, and it carries no filter, no bowl and no lubricator. This unit is the low-pressure type, so its setpoint range tops out at 0.4 MPa, and it is built in the 300 size with 1/4 in NPT ports. No gauge is fitted (the N code), so add your own if you want to read the setpoint, and the mounting bracket is included, with panel mounting also possible on the GR series. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the working temperature span is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR line runs from size 200 to 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, in standard or low-pressure versions, with or without a gauge, with a reverse/check valve option, and in PT (standard), G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Model Code: GR30008LNT AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator, NPT1/4

GR300G-series pressure regulator, 300 body — sets the port range.
08Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2".
LLow-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type.
(blank)Fixing bracket included.
NNo pressure gauge (N).
(blank)Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square.
(blank)Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar.
TNPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT.
(blank)No reverse-flow valve (the default).

Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.

Size Class

  • GR200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GR300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GR400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GR600PT3/4" - PT1"

A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Where the GR30008LNT AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator, NPT1/4 Is Used

tune

Paint spray booth gun supply

Spray guns and atomising air on a finishing line run best at low, stable pressure. This low-pressure regulator set below 0.4 MPa on a 1/4 in NPT drop keeps the gun feed steady without overdriving the nozzle.

valve

Low-pressure pneumatic valve stations

Pilot-air manifolds and low-pressure actuation circuits on packaging or process skids often need a setpoint well under normal line pressure. The GR30008LNT regulates that branch independently at up to 0.4 MPa.

factory

Air tables and low-pressure clamping

Air-film conveyors, blow-off fixtures and gentle clamp circuits on assembly benches need modest, repeatable pressure. A 1/4 in NPT regulator on each station lets operators set and hold the level the fixture was designed for.

Is the GR30008LNT AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator, NPT1/4 the Right Regulator?

Start with the port step: the 300 size takes 1/4 in ports, one step up from 200 (1/8 in) and one below 400 (3/8 in), so match the size to the pipe and the flow your line needs. Choose the low-pressure L type only when your setpoint stays at or below 0.4 MPa; for higher setpoints up to 0.9 MPa pick the standard GR. Decide on a gauge (square or round, MPa, psi or bar scale), whether you want the reverse/check valve, and your thread: PT is the standard, with G and NPT as orderable options such as the NPT on this unit. A J code removes the bracket, which is otherwise included.

One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes GR flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your application details and we will confirm the right size against the datasheet curves before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT1/4" here)
  • ✓ Standard 0.9 MPa or low-pressure 0.4 MPa
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, or order N without
  • ✓ Gauge shape C round / F square
  • ✓ Scale MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3)
  • ✓ Reflux valve needed, order K

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install downstream of the filter, following the airflow arrow.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Set pressure while air is flowing, then lock the knob.
  • check Adjust within 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) only.
  • check Operating range -20 to +70 °C.
  • check Panel-mount or use the fixing bracket; do not hang it on tubing.

Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.

GR30008LNT AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator, NPT1/4 FAQ

AirTAC publishes GR-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Tell us your line pressure, setpoint and downstream demand, and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet curves for this exact 300-size, 1/4 in NPT unit on request.

The N in GR30008LNT means no gauge is fitted, so the unit sets pressure without displaying it. GR regulators can be ordered with an embedded square gauge or an external round gauge, in MPa, psi or bar scale - just ask for the gauge-equipped variant when you order. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the low-pressure type regulates up to 0.4 MPa.
