The AirTAC GR400-15 AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator PT1/2, psi gauge is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR400-15 is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator for compressed air, built for regulation only: it holds a steady downstream pressure from a variable supply, with no filter element and no bowl. This 400-size unit is decodes to a 1/2 in PT port, a standard regulation range of 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), a round external pressure gauge with a psi scale, and a built-in reverse/check valve that holds the downstream setting when upstream pressure is lost. The J suffix means no mounting bracket is fitted; the body is also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, G (BSPP) and NPT thread options, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, a low-pressure type (up to 0.4 MPa), and optional reverse/check valves. Rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure - ask us and we will confirm the datasheet numbers for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Standard type — 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

A 1/2 in regulator holding a fixed clamping pressure on a pneumatic press circuit, with the check valve keeping the clamp setting stable if the main supply dips mid-cycle.
Regulating the air feed to tool-changer and fixture actuators on a machining centre, where a steady downstream pressure protects repeatable actuator stroking.
A dedicated 1/2 in pressure station feeding sealing jaws and baggers on a packaging line, with the round psi gauge letting operators verify setpoints at a glance.
Size the GR by port and expected flow: 200 covers 1/8-1/4 in ports, 300 covers 3/8-1/2 in, 400 covers 1/2-3/4 in, and 600 covers 1 in - step up a size when the line runs near its upper flow range. This unit arrives with a round psi-scale gauge; MPa and bar scales are available if your team reads metric. The standard range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi); if your setpoint stays at or below 0.4 MPa, the L low-pressure type gives finer control. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as orderable options - match it to your piping, not to a delivery promise. Choose the K reverse/check valve (fitted here) when a cylinder or process must hold its set pressure through an upstream dropout, and specify the J no-bracket variant only when panel mounting or existing hardware makes a bracket unnecessary.
Because GR flow is published as curves rather than one rated number, send us your line pressure, set pressure and estimated air demand and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a l/min, m3/h or SCFM number on the page. Tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and estimated air demand, and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this 1/2 in unit before you order.
The C2 in the code specifies a round external gauge with a psi scale (MPa and bar scales are alternatives), and the K specifies a built-in reverse/check valve that holds the downstream setting if upstream pressure is lost. The unit is also the standard-range version (0.05-0.9 MPa / 7-130 psi) with no mounting bracket, on a PT 1/2 in port - G and NPT threads are orderable options.
