The AirTAC GR400-15LJF2K AirTAC Low-Pressure Regulator PT1/2 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The AirTAC GR400-15LJF2K is a low-pressure air pressure regulator from the GR400 series, sized for PT1/2 (1/2 in) ports. The L code sets it as the low-pressure type, regulating downstream pressure up to 0.4 MPa, while the maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi). This configuration carries an embedded square gauge with a psi scale and a built-in reverse (check) valve, and the J code means no mounting bracket is fitted; as a GR unit it is also panel-mountable. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family. As a regulator, it contains no filter and no bowl, so it neither removes water nor adds lubricant.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, in standard and low-pressure types, with gauge scale options (MPa, psi or bar), an optional reverse valve, and PT, G or NPT threads. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

On a carton-sealing or wrapping line, this regulator holds a gentle, stable supply pressure to bag-inflation and sealing cylinders that must not be driven at full line pressure.
Feeding spray guns in a finishing booth, the low-pressure setting keeps atomising air within the gun maker's working range, with the psi gauge giving a direct readout at the booth wall.
On weaving and spinning machines that use low-pressure air jets, this unit drops the 1/2 in shop-air feed to the soft setting the process needs, while the check valve holds the setting against backflow.
Start with the size and port: the GR series steps through 200, 300, 400 and 600, with larger sizes carrying larger ports and more flow capacity, so match the 400 size and PT1/2 port to your line's connection and air demand. Choose the standard type for normal working ranges or the low-pressure L type (this unit, up to 0.4 MPa) where the process needs gentler settings. Pick the gauge scale you read in - MPa, psi or bar - and decide whether you want the reverse (check) valve, as fitted here. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are orderable options. Brackets are optional, and GR also panel-mounts. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and the equipment served, and we will confirm the flow curve and correct sizing from the datasheet on request.
L marks the low-pressure type, which regulates up to 0.4 MPa instead of the standard range. F2 means an embedded square gauge with a psi scale is fitted (MPa and bar scales are options). K means a reverse (check) valve is built in. J means no mounting bracket is supplied, though the unit is panel-mountable.
