The AirTAC GR40010LJC2T AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT3/8 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT3/8" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40010LJC2T is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: it does one job only, holding a stable downstream pressure from a compressed-air supply. This is the low-pressure (L) type, so it adjusts up to 0.4 MPa, in the 400 size with an NPT3/8 (3/8 in) port. It is supplied with the optional external round gauge on a psi scale, and with no mounting bracket (J); the GR body is also panel-mountable. There is no filter, no bowl and no drain on this unit - it is regulation only.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans the 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, standard or low-pressure types, gauge and thread options, and a wide -20 to 70 C operating range. Rated flow for the GR400 is published as a curve rather than a single figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application before ordering.
| Model | GR40010LJC2T AirTAC Air Pressure Regulator NPT3/8 |
|---|---|
| Series | GR400 pressure regulator |
| Port size | PT3/8" (NPT thread) |
| Regulating range | 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) |
| Pressure type | Low-pressure type |
| Bracket | Supplied without bracket |
| Fluid | Compressed air |
|---|---|
| Max. working pressure | 1.0 MPa (145 psi) |
| Temperature range | -20 to +70 °C |
| Pressure gauge | Fitted — round, psi scale |
| Reflux valve | Not fitted |
| Mounting | Panel mounting; optional fixing bracket |
Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Set a steady, low clamping pressure on fixture cylinders where the line must not exceed 0.4 MPa, protecting delicate parts from over-clamping.
Regulate supply to carton-sealing and labelling heads that run at reduced pressure, keeping actuator forces consistent across shift changes.
Hold a gentle, repeatable air pressure to sample-handling or dosing apparatus where the process tolerates only low regulated pressures.
Choose the GR size by the port and flow step your line needs: 200, 300, 400 or 600, with ports from 1/8 in up to 1 in. This 400 size with NPT3/8 suits mid-size machine supply drops. Pick the low-pressure (L) type when your setpoint must stay at or below 0.4 MPa; the standard type covers the full 0.05-0.9 MPa range. Gauge choice is the embedded square gauge or the external round gauge fitted here, with MPa, psi or bar scales - this unit is round, psi. Thread is PT as standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options, and this code selects NPT. Bracket: included by default, omitted with J as on this unit. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so send us your required flow and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR400 flow as a curve, not a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number. Tell us your required flow and downstream pressure and we will confirm the datasheet curve and correct sizing for your application on request.
The L in the code marks the low-pressure type, whose adjustment range tops out at 0.4 MPa. If you need to set pressures up to 0.9 MPa, order the standard GR type instead - the range is a decode choice, not a fault.
