The AirTAC GR40015LF1TK AirTAC Low-Pressure Regulator NPT1/2 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40015LF1TK is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: it does one job, holding your downstream pressure steady, and it does nothing else - no filter, no bowl, no lubrication. This is the low-pressure (L) type, so its adjustment range tops out at 0.4 MPa, which suits circuits that must never see full line pressure. The size-400 body takes 1/2 in NPT ports (T code), and the F1 codes give you the embedded square gauge reading in MPa. A reverse/check valve (K) is fitted, so downstream pressure is held if the upstream side drops, and a mounting bracket is included; the GR series is also panel-mountable.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with optional G (BSPP) or NPT threads where PT is the standard, gauge scales in MPa, psi or bar, and standard or low-pressure regulation. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Fixing bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| T | NPT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Packaging machines often use air clamps and hold-downs that must not be slammed at full line pressure. This low-pressure regulator lets the setter dial the circuit down to a gentle, repeatable clamp pressure, and the check valve holds the clamp if upstream air dips mid-cycle.
Spray, dip and dosing equipment is sensitive to pressure swings: too high and the finish runs, too low and coverage thins out. A dedicated low-pressure regulator at each station keeps atomising and delivery air steady and independent of the main header.
Conveyor diverters, gate actuators and pusher cylinders run smoother and wear less when fed at a controlled low pressure rather than raw header air. This regulator gives each conveyor zone its own stable setting, with the square gauge making the set point visible to operators.
Start with the port: the 15 code here is 1/2 in, and the larger 400 size carries more flow than 200 or 300 - but because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your air demand before ordering. Next choose the regulator type: this L-code unit is the low-pressure type, adjusting up to 0.4 MPa; if your circuit needs the full standard range, order the GR400 without the L code instead. The K code adds a reverse/check valve - leave it off if you do not need downstream pressure held on upstream loss.
Gauge options are the embedded square gauge (this unit, F code) or an external round gauge, with scales in MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3); this one reads MPa. Thread is NPT on this unit (T); PT is the series standard and G (BSPP) is orderable - all are specifications, not delivery terms. A mounting bracket is included with GR, and the J code omits it if you prefer.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR-series flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we will not quote you a figure that is not in the datasheet. Tell us your line pressure, set pressure and air consumption, and we will confirm the flow curve and sizing for this 1/2 in, size-400 regulator on request before you order.
The L in the model code marks the low-pressure type, whose adjustment range tops out at 0.4 MPa - ideal for circuits that must stay gentle. If your application needs the standard GR range up to 0.9 MPa, order the same size without the L code. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) either way, and the GR series works from -20 to 70 C.
