The AirTAC GR40015LF2K AirTAC Low-Pressure Regulator PT1/2 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40015LF2K is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator: its only job is to hold a steady downstream air pressure, with no filtration and no lubrication. This is the low-pressure type (code L), so it regulates up to 0.4 MPa, with a maximum inlet (working) pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). It is built in size 400 with PT1/2 (1/2 in) ports, PT thread as standard, and a fitted reverse/check valve (code K) that holds the downstream setting if upstream supply is interrupted. A square pressure gauge in psi is included, and a mounting bracket comes with the unit; the GR body is also panel-mountable. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C, wider than the rest of the G family.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR line spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, in standard or low-pressure types, with gauge scale and thread options to order. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, we confirm the datasheet flow figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Fixing bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Holds a gentle, stable clamping pressure on carton-forming and case-sealing cylinders where full line pressure would crush the product, with the check valve keeping the clamp held through supply dips.
Regulates feed air to bench-mounted test rigs and pneumatic fixtures that need a repeatable low setpoint, with the psi gauge giving operators a direct local readout at the bench.
Supplies low-pressure air to web guides, air bearings and blow-off nozzles on textile or converting machinery, where a steady reduced pressure protects delicate material handling.
Size and port are the first choice: step up through 200, 300, 400 and 600 as your line's air demand grows - this unit is size 400 with PT1/2 (1/2 in) PT-threaded ports; G (BSPP) and NPT threads are order options if your pipework needs them. Choose the low-pressure type (this code, L) when your process setpoint sits below the standard range, since it regulates up to 0.4 MPa. The fitted check valve (K) suits circuits where the downstream pressure must be held during an upstream drop. Gauge scale is psi here; MPa and bar scales are available. A bracket is included, and the GR can also be panel-mounted. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The reflux valve lets air flow back through the regulator, which is useful when downstream volume must vent quickly. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes GR-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow, Cv or SCFM figure. Tell us your line pressure, setpoint and air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for this size 400, PT1/2 unit on request before you order.
The L code means this is the low-pressure GR type, regulating up to 0.4 MPa instead of the standard range, with a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi). This code also includes a square gauge reading in psi, a fitted reverse/check valve (K) and a mounting bracket; the GR body is additionally panel-mountable. Operating temperature is -20 to 70 C.
