The AirTAC GR40015LJF2G AirTAC Low-Pressure Air Regulator G1/2 is a genuine G-series air pressure regulator. It holds a stable downstream pressure over the range 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi) with PT1/2" ports, and ships with a pressure gauge. A regulator does not filter the air — put a GF filter upstream, or use a GFR filter regulator, when water and particulate must also be removed.
The GR40015LJF2G is an AirTAC GR-series air pressure regulator in the size 400 frame with G1/2 (BSPP) ports. This is the low-pressure type, so it regulates downstream pressure up to 0.4 MPa, making it suitable for circuits that must never see full-line pressure. It handles a maximum inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and operates from -20 to 70 C, a wider temperature window than the rest of the G-series. The embedded square gauge fitted to this unit reads in psi, and the J suffix means no mounting bracket is supplied; as a GR unit it can also be panel-mounted, and being regulation only it has no bowl or drain.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GR family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with port sizes from 1/8 in to 1 in, and is orderable with standard or low-pressure regulation, square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, an optional reverse/check valve, PT, G or NPT threads, and with or without a bracket. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and datasheet figures against your application before ordering.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. Note the GR temperature range is -20 to +70 °C, wider than the other G-series units. A regulator has no bowl and no filter element, so there is no filtering grade. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GR400 | G-series pressure regulator, 400 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| L | Low-pressure type — 0.05 - 0.4 MPa (7 - 58 psi). Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 2 | Gauge scale: psi. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| G | G (BSPP) thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, type, bracket, gauge, gauge shape, scale, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GR300-08LNK is a 300 body, PT1/4", low-pressure type, no gauge, with reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom rather than from a single rated figure.

Supplies low-pressure air to pneumatic gate and butterfly valve actuators on a treatment plant skid, holding actuator pressure well below the main compressor line so seats and seals are not overstressed.
Regulates the gentle, low-pressure air that presses sealing jaws and hold-down clamps on a bagging or carton-sealing line, where full line pressure would crush or mark the product.
Feeds the low-pressure air circuit of an air-jet weaving loom, keeping the jet and assist air at the steady reduced pressure the weaving process calls for while the loom runs off a higher-pressure ring main.
Start with the size and port: this unit is size 400 with G1/2 ports; smaller 200/300 frames take 1/8 to 3/8 in ports and the 600 frame steps up to 3/4 and 1 in, so match the frame to the line size and the flow your circuit needs. Next, choose the regulation type: this is the L (low-pressure) variant, which regulates up to 0.4 MPa; the standard GR type covers 0.05 to 0.9 MPa, so pick L only where the process genuinely runs low. Then set the gauge: this code carries the embedded square gauge with a psi scale, and MPa or bar scales plus an external round gauge are orderable alternatives. Thread is G (BSPP) here, with PT (standard) and NPT available as order options; the J code means no bracket is fitted, and a K code would add a reverse/check valve.
One honest note on sizing: AirTAC publishes regulator flow as curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote a flow figure here. Send us your line size, inlet pressure and target downstream pressure, and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet curves before you order.
Quick checklist
Without a reflux valve, air cannot flow back through the regulator — order the K option if reverse flow is required. A regulator does not remove water or particulate; that is the filter's job.
AirTAC publishes regulator flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Tell us your line size, inlet pressure and target downstream pressure, and we will confirm the flow and sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The L in the model code marks the low-pressure type, which regulates downstream pressure up to 0.4 MPa. Standard GR regulators without the L cover 0.05 to 0.9 MPa. Choose this low-pressure version only for circuits that genuinely run at reduced pressure; for general-purpose regulation, order the standard type instead.
