Description
The GV Slow Start Valve is designed to ensure safe pressure build-up in pneumatic systems, providing critical safety protection. When the valve's input port (P) is connected to the compressed air supply and the coil is energized, the 3-port 2-position valve opens. This allows a controlled airflow through the throttle valve to output port (A), enabling gradual system pressurization. The valve fully opens when output pressure reaches 50% of input pressure, achieving maximum flow capacity. Upon de-energization, port P closes while the check valve redirects residual air from the system to exhaust port (R) for rapid depressurization, resetting the system to zero pressure to ensure operational safety.
