AirTAC LSH Series Linear Guide Rails

The LSH series is AirTAC's standard-type profile rail linear guide: a hardened rail running with one or more recirculating ball carriages. Four rows of balls sit in X-shaped arc raceways at a 45 degree contact angle, giving two-point contact per ball, so each carriage carries load equally in all four directions and self-aligns to absorb slight mounting-surface error within the allowable values for its size and preload. AirtacDistr stocks sizes LSH15, 20, 25 and 30, with basic dynamic load ratings from 11.3 kN (LSH15) up to 45.7 kN with a long LSH30 carriage; LSH35 and LSH45 exist in the catalogue but are order-only here, not from stock.

This is a mechanical motion component, not a pneumatic part - no bore, stroke or pressure rating. The line-up covers square (H) carriages, flange top-mount (F1) and bottom-mount (F2) carriages, standard (N) and long (L) bodies, one to ten carriages per rail, rail lengths from 70 to 4000 mm, accuracy grades N, H and P, and preload grades A (none) to C (medium). Long carriages raise moment capacity faster than load capacity: on LSH20 the long body lifts the MR moment from 0.27 to 0.35 kNm, about 30 percent, but dynamic rating only from 18.6 to 22.2 kN, about 19 percent.

Carriages are interchangeable within a model: any carriage of a given LSH model fits any rail of that model and keeps its smoothness, preload and accuracy. That applies only within AirTAC LSH, not to other makers' rails. Carriages ship pre-filled with Mobilux EP2 grease, and grease fittings are built into the order code - size 15 takes the M4 family, sizes 20 to 30 the M6 family.
