TMICL is AirTAC's adjustable-cushion guided cylinder built as a guide frame combined with a mini cylinder. Twin guide rods on linear bearings carry the side load and torque, so the small piston rod is not asked to resist twisting. Action is double acting, cushioning is adjustable, and the series runs at 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi / 1.5-10.0 bar) with a speed range of 30-500 mm/s and -20 to +70 C operation. Multiple mounting orientations are supported.

How to Choose the Right Model
Start with the load direction. If your motion is lifting, pushing or any duty demanding high precision and low-friction travel, the linear-bearing TMICL is the right pick. If the cylinder instead takes a radial load - braking, stopping or knock-duty - the bronze-bushing TMICM offers greater torsional rigidity and costs roughly 15-20% less; it is the better tool for that job, not a lesser one. Within TMICL, match bore and stroke from the stock table: 16 mm bore for 25-200 mm strokes, 20 or 25 mm for 25-250 mm strokes. Then confirm the five practical points: bore, stroke, port thread (M5x0.8 or PT1/8), mounting orientation, and whether you need the magnet -S suffix for switch sensing.
Step outside the series when the frame idea outgrows it. For 32-100 mm bores and strokes to 500 mm, the TSAIM and TSAIL guided cylinders put the same guide-frame concept on a standard cylinder. For an integrated twin-rod body rather than a bolted frame, look at TCM or TCL, which also reach 6 and 10 mm bores below anything here. And if your load has no side force at all, the plain MI or MIC mini cylinders are the honest choice - the guide frame is cost that buys nothing in that case.
