The ACEJ32X55-20S is a double acting AirTAC ISO 21287 compact cylinder with an adjustable extend stroke: an external stop screw trims the 55 mm stroke by up to 20 mm on site, giving a usable range of 35-55 mm without changing the cylinder. At 0.5 MPa the 32 mm bore delivers 402.1 N push and 345.6 N pull, rising to 563 N push at 0.7 MPa. Because the short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, it slots into tight fixtures, guarding and gantries where a full-length body simply will not fit.
For sizing, plan on roughly 240 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (about 60% of the push rating), which is a vertical lift of about 24 kg - halve that to roughly 12 kg for a 2:1 margin on lifting duties. The S code means the magnet is fitted, so CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be clipped into the body slots for end-of-stroke sensing.
