Trim the extend stroke by up to 30 mm directly at the fixture with the AirTAC MFJ40X25-30, a JIS-standard round-body mini cylinder built for on-site end-position tuning. The external adjuster lets you shorten the forward stroke without buying a new unit or adding external stops, making it highly useful for trial fits and line changeovers where the exact travel is not yet final. This double-acting actuator uses a SUS304 stainless barrel and riveted aluminium covers, yielding a shorter overall body than an ISO 6432 cylinder for the same 40 mm bore and 25 mm stroke. The 1/4" port and M14x1.5 male rod thread handle a robust force class, delivering 628.3 N of push force at 0.5 MPa. Fixed TPU bumper pads absorb impact at the stroke ends, and because this specific SKU lacks the -S magnet option, it cannot host CMSG, DMSG, or EMSG sensors.

For practical sizing, this 40 mm bore generates a safe working load of roughly 377 N (about 60 percent of its 0.5 MPa push rating), translating to a vertical lift capacity of about 32 kg with a 2:1 safety margin. It operates between 0.15 and 1.0 MPa at speeds of 30-800 mm/s. Note that the adjuster only sets the end position; it does not function as a mid-stroke lock, and the cylinder will drift if air pressure is lost.
