Delivering a robust 434.8 N of pull force at 0.5 MPa (645.8 N at 0.7 MPa), this JIS-standard round-body mini cylinder is built for heavy-duty tensioning. The MTF40X15CM uses a single-acting pull mechanism where an internal spring holds the 16 mm rod extended, while supplying air to the 1/4" port retracts it. Because it fails to the extended position on air loss, it is perfect for spring-open applications.
The SUS304 stainless steel barrel and riveted aluminium covers provide excellent mild corrosion and washdown resistance. For the same 40 mm bore and 15 mm stroke, this riveted construction is notably shorter than an ISO 6432 cylinder, saving valuable mounting length. It uses fixed TPU bumper pads for end-of-stroke deceleration and, lacking the -S option, this specific SKU cannot accept CMSG, DMSG, or EMSG magnetic sensors.
