The PSL804BD-S is a SUS304 stainless speed controller that throttles air in one direction and lets it run freely in the other, so you can set how fast an actuator moves. This is the B, meter-in version: flow from the 1/2in PT thread port out to the Dia 8 tube runs free, and the return path is throttled. AirTAC recommends meter-out as the default for double-acting cylinders, but meter-in is the right choice on single-acting actuators, where there is no exhaust side to cushion and the inlet itself must be restricted to slow the stroke.
Adjustment is by a knurled knob with an aluminium locking cap: set the speed, then screw the cap down so vibration cannot drift the setting.
