The AirTAC JSID series is the double-rod variant of the JSI JIS-standard profile air cylinder. Because a rod exits both ends, the effective piston area is identical in both directions, generating equal force on extend and retract. The twin rods also resist rotation and guide the load directly, eliminating the need for external guide rods in many applications.
The range covers 7 bores from 32 to 125 mm. Port sizes scale with bore: 32 mm uses G1/8, 40-50 mm use G1/4, 63-80 mm use G3/8, and 100-125 mm use G1/2. At 0.5 MPa, the equal bidirectional force spans from the mid-hundreds of Newtons at bore 32 to several thousand Newtons at bore 125.
