The AirTAC BSE80X75 is a double-acting single-rod ISO 15552 profile cylinder with an integrated spring-applied, air-released rod lock. The collet mechanism provides a 3600 N bidirectional fail-safe hold with no live air, securely preventing vertical loads from drifting if pressure drops. Operating pressure is capped at 0.7 MPa.
This 80 mm bore unit delivers a 0.7 MPa drive force of 3518 N, which is entirely separate from the 3600 N static holding force of the lock. The lock uses a dedicated G1/8 release port and requires 0.5 s to fully disengage before motion. This SKU has no magnet, so position sensing is not available.
