Installation protocol:
Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape clockwise on male threads.
Tighten to 1.2–1.5 N·m torque using crowfoot wrench.
Avoid cross-threading – initial engagement must rotate freely for 3+ turns before tightening.
Perform pressure test at 1.8 MPa for 10 minutes post-installation.
