Installation protocol:
Apply thread sealant (PTFE tape or liquid) to external threads before assembly.
Use two wrenches during installation - one to hold the base fitting and another
to tighten the connection (max 3 full turns after hand-tight). Pressure test
at 1.25× working pressure after installation.
