The AirTAC AirTAC 3V210-06 Solenoid Valve, 3V200 Series (3V21006NCFI) is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. A 3/2 valve either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, so it suits single-acting cylinders, air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty. We stock this code and confirm its published figures from the datasheet on request.
Off, the 3V21006NCFI holds its 1/8in outlet vented to exhaust; energise the DC12V coil and supply air passes through to the outlet. That feed-or-vent action is what a 3-port, 2-position valve does, and it is the standard way to drive a single-acting, spring-return cylinder, switch a blow jet, or pilot a larger valve. Normally closed is the fail-safe direction here: cut control power and the actuator vents and retracts.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The same 3/2 function runs across the 3V1, 3V2 and 3V3 families in normally closed and normally open states, AC220V, DC24V, AC110V, AC24V and DC12V coils, DIN plug or flying-lead entry, plus 3V-F manifold bases for multi-valve builds. Pressure, flow and coil-power figures are not published on this page - send the RFQ and we confirm them from the datasheet.

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Charging and venting a spring-return tip or lift cylinder on an electric warehouse cart, where the control circuit runs at 12V DC.
Flying leads land directly on a terminal strip, so a compact machine cabinet needs no DIN socket space beside the valve.
Energise the coil to extend a single-acting ram onto the workpiece; cut power and the valve vents, letting the spring retract the clamp.
Three facts fix this SKU: a DC12V coil, flying-lead entry and a 1/8in PT port. The 12V coil belongs on battery-fed or low-voltage control circuits and must be ordered to match the supply - voltage is fixed at purchase and rewiring will not change it. Flying leads land on a terminal strip without a DIN socket, which is why this variant is chosen for cramped cabinets and mobile equipment. The port threads into compact single-acting cylinders and blow nozzles; a larger actuator calls for the 1/4in or 3/8in codes. Normally closed means the outlet stays vented until the coil is energised, the fail-safe choice where a spring-return actuator must release on power loss. We do not hold published flow or pressure figures for this family, so send the RFQ and we will check sizing against your actuator; if you need documented numbers today, the AirTAC 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in) and 3V3 (1/4in) bodies publish flow and coil power. A double-acting cylinder is a job for the 5-port AirTAC 4V series, not any 3/2 valve.
Confirm before you order
None are published on this page, and we will not estimate pressure, flow or coil power for a valve where we lack the datasheet. Send the RFQ and we confirm those figures from AirTAC's datasheet for you. If you need documented numbers today, the AirTAC 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in ports) and 3V3 (1/4in) bodies carry published flow and coil-power figures.
The coil voltage must equal your control supply - a 12V coil will not hold on a 24V circuit and cannot be rewired to suit. The I in the code means flying leads: the coil arrives with pre-attached wires for a terminal strip instead of the DIN plug connection used elsewhere in this family.
