The AirTAC AirTAC 3V210-06 Solenoid Valve, 3V200 Series (3V21006NOA) is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. A 3/2 valve either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, so it suits single-acting cylinders, air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty. We stock this code and confirm its published figures from the datasheet on request.
A normally open 3/2 valve runs the logic backwards, and that is the whole point of the 3V21006NOA. With the AC220V coil de-energised, supply air already sits at the 1/8in outlet, feeding whatever is connected; energise the coil and that path closes, venting downstream to exhaust. Circuits that must keep acting - or keep clamping - through a power loss are built around exactly this state.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. Alongside it, the 3V1, 3V2 and 3V3 families list normally closed versions, coils from AC220V down to DC12V, DIN plug and flying-lead connections, and 3V-F manifold bases. This page carries no pressure, flow or power figures; we check them from the datasheet and return them with your RFQ.

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Keeping a pneumatically piloted process valve fed while de-energised, so the line settles to its safe position on any power loss.
Purge air into a laboratory hood or glovebox that must keep flowing when control power drops - the open state delivers it without any coil signal.
Feeding a nozzle that strips moisture from bottles as they pass; the AC220V coil only closes and vents the jet for changeover.
Normally open changes the fail-safe picture: on loss of control power this valve keeps feeding its outlet, so whatever is downstream stays supplied. Choose it over the NC version when a purge jet, a pilot line or a clamp must hold through a power failure. The 1/8in PT port threads straight into compact single-acting cylinders and nozzles; step up to the 1/4in or 3/8in codes when the actuator is larger. The AC220V coil must match a mains-supplied panel - coil voltage is fixed at order and cannot be converted by rewiring. We hold no published flow figure for this family, so let us check the datasheet against your actuator before you commit; for documented numbers right away, the AirTAC 3V2 and 3V3 bodies publish flow and coil power. Double-acting cylinders need the 5-port AirTAC 4V series instead.
Confirm before you order
Not here. We deliberately leave performance numbers off this page and confirm them from the datasheet when you send the RFQ. Buyers who need published figures immediately can look at the AirTAC 3V2, covering 1/8in and 1/4in ports, or the 3V3 in 1/4in, where flow and coil power are documented.
Ask what must happen when control power fails. If the actuator should stay still or release, choose NC; if it must keep receiving air - a purge jet, a fail-open pilot - choose NO. Neither state suits a double-acting cylinder, which needs a 5-port AirTAC 4V valve.
