The AirTAC AirTAC 3V210-06 Solenoid Valve, 3V200 Series (3V21006NOBI-W) is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. A 3/2 valve either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, so it suits single-acting cylinders, air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty. We stock this code and confirm its published figures from the datasheet on request.
This 3V21006NOBI-W is a genuine AirTAC 3/2 solenoid valve. Three ports - supply, outlet, exhaust - and two positions mean the valve either feeds its outlet or vents it, nothing in between. This unit is normally open: air flows with the coil off, and energising the coil closes the outlet and dumps it to exhaust. On a 24V DC control system that behaviour is often exactly what a fail-safe design wants.
The coil is DC24V with flying-lead entry - the wires come pre-wired, which saves fitting a plug and suits cramped cabinets or retrofit work where no DIN socket is wired in. The family around it covers normally closed versions, all five standard coil voltages, DIN-plug entry, and 3V100M manifold bases. Datasheet figures such as pressure range and coil power are not on this page; raise an RFQ and our team will pull them from the datasheet for you.

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
The 3/2 switches supply to a vacuum generator on the gripper; with a NO valve the generator drops its state the instant the coil is de-energised, releasing the part.
A small 3/2 sends and vents the pilot signal that strokes a bigger pneumatic valve on a water-treatment or process skid.
A spring-return stripper cylinder retracts the product hold-down between cycles; the NO valve keeps it fed and vents it under coil control.
The electrical side is the headline here: a DC24V coil matches PLC-side 24V supplies directly, and flying leads connect to terminals without buying or wiring a plug form. Check the coil voltage against your panel before ordering - a 24V coil will not run on 110 or 220V and cannot be changed by rewiring. The 1/8in PT port is the family default thread; G and NPT exist as orderable options.
Flow figures for the 3V210 body are not something we publish, so send us the cylinder or nozzle details and we will confirm suitability from the datasheet. Buyers who want published flow and coil power immediately should look at the documented AirTAC 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in) and 3V3 (1/4in) bodies. For double-acting actuation, the AirTAC 4V series is the right family.
Confirm before you order
Anything printed on the AirTAC datasheet: operating pressure range, proof pressure, flow, coil power and temperature limits. None of those appear on this page, so ask us by RFQ and we will quote them exactly. If published figures are a purchase condition for you today, the documented AirTAC 3V2 and 3V3 bodies are the ones with printed flow and coil power - check the port size matches before switching families.
With NO, the outlet is fed whenever the coil is off - air flows during a power cut. NC is the mirror image: no air until the coil is energised. Choose NO when the unpowered state should be extend, blow or signal-on; choose NC when it should be hold or shut. The choice is fixed by the part number, so decide it before ordering.
