The AirTAC AirTAC 3V210-06 Solenoid Valve, 3V200 Series (3V21006NOCI) is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. A 3/2 valve either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, so it suits single-acting cylinders, air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty. We stock this code and confirm its published figures from the datasheet on request.
The 3V21006NOCI is a genuine AirTAC 3/2 solenoid valve - three ports (supply, outlet, exhaust) and two positions, feeding or venting the outlet. This one is normally open: air reaches the outlet whenever the coil is off, and switching the AC110V coil on closes the feed and vents downstream air to exhaust. The 1/8in PT thread is the standard port on this family, sized for small single-acting actuators, pilot lines and blow duties.
The I in the code marks flying-lead entry: the coil's wires arrive attached, ready for your terminals, with no separate plug to source. Around this SKU the family offers normally closed versions, DC24V, DC12V, AC220V and AC24V coils, DIN-plug entry, and manifold bases in the 3V-F form. We do not publish pressure, flow or coil-power values for the 3V210 body here - put the part number on an RFQ and we will come back with the datasheet figures.

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
The door interlock cylinder extends on its spring and retracts under air; a NO valve defines the air-on condition at power loss in line with the safety logic.
Several single-acting clamps across a cell each get their own compact 3/2, wired individually by flying lead back to the control panel.
Small jigs and fixture tables use a 3/2 to switch air to a hold-down or blow-off point, with the exhaust port giving a clean vent when switched off.
This configuration suits a 110V AC control panel where you want hard-wired coil connections rather than a socketed plug - common on older machines and standalone panels. Remember the coil cannot be re-voltaged; buy the code that matches the supply. If your fail-safe logic needs the unpowered state to be vented rather than fed, order the NC variant of the same body instead.
Sizing is the step we should do together: flow data for this family is not in our published set, so share the actuator details and we will verify the match against the datasheet before you order. If printed flow and coil power are essential right now, the documented AirTAC 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in) and 3V3 (1/4in) bodies carry those figures on their own pages. For a double-acting cylinder, move to the AirTAC 4V series - a 3/2 cannot do that job.
Confirm before you order
Not from this page - we do not publish performance figures for the 3V210 body here. Raise an RFQ quoting 3V21006NOCI and we will confirm the datasheet numbers for pressure, flow, coil power and temperature with you. Buyers who need those figures printed before purchase should compare the documented AirTAC 3V2 and 3V3 bodies, which do publish flow and coil power for their 1/8in and 1/4in sizes.
Because this is the normally open version: with the coil de-energised the valve feeds the outlet, and it only vents when powered. That is the intended fail-safe direction for jobs like extending an ejector or holding a blow line open. If your circuit needs the opposite - no air at the outlet when power fails - order the normally closed variant of the same 3V210 body.
