Installation protocol:
Apply PTFE tape or liquid sealant to male threads (excluding first two threads).
Hand-tighten plus 1/4 turn with wrench. Avoid overtightening - maximum allowable
rotation after finger-tight is 180°. Inspect O-rings quarterly for compression set.
