Installation protocol:
Apply 1.5 wraps of PTFE tape clockwise on male threads. Hand-tighten until snug,
then torque 1/4 turn with wrench. Avoid cross-threading - initial engagement
must rotate freely. Inspect O-rings quarterly for compression set.
