Select BSAID over a stroke-end-only SAIL lock when you must freeze the rod anywhere in its travel, or choose a plain SAID if no clamping is needed. This BSAID80X150-S uses PT tapered ports (3/8 cylinder, G1/8 enclasp) and accepts Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, or TCM2 mounts (omitting FB, CA, CB, CR). The clamp locks only after the cylinder stops; it cannot brake a moving rod. Always balance air pressure on both sides to unlock, or the rod may jump abruptly.
