The AirTAC BSE100X175 is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder with an integrated spring-applied, air-released rod lock. A collet clamps the Ø25 mm piston rod, delivering a 5500 N bidirectional static holding force. If air pressure drops or an E-stop trips, the lock engages automatically to hold your load safely in place.
The cylinder drive operates at 0.15-0.7 MPa, generating 5497 N of push force at max pressure. Note the lock is a holding device, not a dynamic brake. A separate G1/8 release port unlocks the collet, which requires balanced piston pressure and at least 0.5 s before motion.
