The AirTAC BSE50X450 is a double-acting, single-rod ISO 15552 profile cylinder featuring an integrated spring-applied, air-released rod lock. It delivers a 1400 N bidirectional static holding force with zero live air, ensuring suspended loads remain exactly where they stopped if pressure drops. Operating pressure is capped at 0.7 MPa, and the cylinder itself runs on a PT1/4 port.
This 50 mm bore, 450 mm stroke unit uses a separate G1/8 release port to overcome the internal collet clamp. Because it is built on the SE body, standard SE mounting accessories fit perfectly, except for FTC. The lock is strictly a static holding device, not a dynamic brake, and must be engaged only after the piston has fully stopped.
