A collet clamps the Ø20 mm piston rod, delivering a bidirectional static holding force of 1400 N. If air is lost or an E-stop trips, the rod stays locked at whatever position it stopped, preventing suspended loads from drifting.
The lock uses a separate G1/8 release port operating at 0.15-0.7 MPa, while the main cylinder also runs up to a 0.7 MPa ceiling. This SKU lacks a magnet, so position sensing is not available. The lock engages only after the rod stops and requires >=0.5 s to release fully once pressures are balanced.
