Installation protocol:
Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape on male threads (clockwise wrap direction).
Hand-tighten until O-rings contact panel surface, then apply final 1/4 turn
with wrench. Avoid overtightening to prevent thread deformation.
Pressure Testing:
Requires 1.5x rated pressure hydrostatic test for 3 minutes during initial installation.
Annual inspection recommended for industrial applications.
