Installation protocol:
Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape on male threads (clockwise winding).
Use backup wrench on hex flats during tightening to prevent body rotation.
Post-installation pressure test required at 1.8MPa for 5 minutes.
Compatibility note:
Not suitable for phosphate ester fluids or chlorinated solvents.
Avoid using pipe dope containing silicone compounds.
