Installation protocol:
Apply thread sealant (LOCTITE 577 recommended) to male threads only.
Tighten to 12 N·m using crowfoot wrench - do not exceed 180° rotation after
initial contact. Perform pressure test at 1.25×system pressure post-installation.
Compatibility note:
Not suitable for oxygen service or ethylene glycol mixtures.
When using with PTFE tape, limit wraps to 2.5 turns and
keep 1st thread clean for proper sealing engagement.
