Installation protocol:
Apply thread sealant (PTFE tape or liquid sealant) to male threads only.
Tighten using a 17mm open-end wrench on the hex flats. Avoid overtightening -
stop rotation when 80% thread engagement is achieved. Perform pressure test
at 1.25× working pressure after installation.
