Installation protocol:
Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape on male threads (AWWA standard).
Tighten to 25-30 N·m torque using crowfoot wrench.
Avoid overtightening to prevent thread deformation.
Pressure test with 1.8 MPa air before system commissioning.
