Installation protocol:
Apply 2-3 wraps of PTFE tape clockwise on male threads.
Tighten to 1.2-1.5 N·m torque using backup wrench on hex base.
Avoid overtightening - sealant contact occurs at 270° rotation.
Fluid compatibility:
Not recommended for acetylene, chlorine, or oxygen-rich (>23%) environments.
For liquid applications, specify FKM seals and vertical downward orientation.
