This model features a 25 mm carbon steel rod with an M20x1.5 thread on both ends. The double-rod layout allows mounting a workpiece on one end and a guide or counterweight on the other for dual-side anti-rotation. The clamp uses a third G1/8 enclasp port alongside the two 1/2 inch PT cylinder ports. If 3681 N thrust is excessive, step down to the 80 mm bore, which offers 2268 N thrust and a 3600 N holding force. Conversely, if the 5500 N clamp capacity is insufficient, the 125 mm bore provides 8600 N holding force. Choose BSAID over a stroke-end-only SAIL lock when intermediate holding is required, or select a plain SAID if no clamping is needed.
The clamp locks only after the rod has stopped; it cannot brake a moving rod. It must be unlocked with balanced air pressures on both sides of the piston to prevent the rod from jumping abruptly. For safety-critical applications, an independent external safety measure is required. This cylinder accepts Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, and TCM2 mounts (omitting FB/CA/CB/CR). It operates at 0.15-0.7 MPa, uses PT ports, and supports speeds of 30-500 mm/s. As no magnet is specified, it will not work with CMSE or DMSE sensors without modification.
