It is crucial to distinguish holding force from thrust: the 8600 N clamp rating is the static load the enclasp gripper sustains, entirely separate from the 5734 N pneumatic thrust. The variable air cushion at stroke ends only decelerates the piston; the clamp mechanism is what actually secures the load. If your load is lighter, stepping down to the 100 mm bore gives 3681 N pull thrust and a 5500 N hold. Stepping up is impossible as 125 mm is the largest bore. For this 1000 mm stroke, the long unsupported rod demands an external guide to prevent side-load damage despite the robust 32 mm rod. Replacement requires a double-rod configuration, 125 mm bore, 1000 mm stroke, PT port threads, and the BSAID mounting set (Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, TCM2—omitting FB/CA/CB/CR).
