Remember that holding force and thrust are distinct metrics; you must size the 600 N clamp capacity against your static load, not the cylinder's push thrust.

Choose this 32 mm bore model when an application requires holding a load mid-stroke, a task a plain SAID cannot perform. If you only need holding at the stroke end, the SAIL series suffices. If you need higher mid-stroke holding capacity, step up to the 40 mm bore, which offers 528 N of thrust and a 900 N clamp force. Remember the clamp locks only after the rod stops; it cannot brake a moving load. Safety-critical applications require an independent backup measure.

This cylinder uses PT threaded ports (1/8 cylinder, G1/8 enclasp). The 12 mm carbon steel rod provides a robust interface for moderate side loads.
