The AirTAC BSE100X25S is a double-acting single-rod ISO 15552 profile cylinder with an integrated spring-applied, air-released rod lock. A collet clamps the 25 mm rod to provide a 5500 N bidirectional static holding force. If air pressure drops or an E-stop trips, the lock engages automatically to hold the load safely in place.
Operating pressure is capped at 0.7 MPa, and the lock uses a separate G1/8 release port. This 25 mm stroke unit includes a magnet for CMSE or DMSE sensors. The lock is a holding device, not a dynamic brake; it must engage only after the rod stops.
