The AirTAC BSE32X300 is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder featuring a spring-applied, air-released collet rod lock. It delivers a bidirectional static holding force of 600 N with no live air, ensuring suspended loads stay exactly where they stopped during pressure loss or an E-stop trip. Operating pressure is capped at 0.15-0.7 MPa.
This 32mm bore, 300mm stroke unit uses a separate G1/8 port to unlock the mechanism. Because the clamp engages via internal spring pressure, the lock is fail-safe and completely independent of the adjustable air cushions at both ends. It is an ISO 15552 extruded aluminum profile body with no external tie rods.
Rod Lock — 600 N Static Holding (Ø32mm)
A spring clamps the collet onto the rod, so the Airtac BSE Clamp Standard Cylinder BSE32X300 holds its position in both directions when air is lost, exhausted or an E-stop trips. Apply 0.15–0.7 MPa to the G1/8 release port to unlock. Allow at least 0.5 s for full release before moving.

Always engage the lock only after the rod stops, and release it only when piston pressures are balanced, allowing at least 0.5 s before moving. This SKU has no -S magnet, so position sensing is not available. For a 300 mm stroke, use external guide rails to prevent side-load wear on the barrel and collet.
